VideoMarathon is a film competition produced by True Stories where 300 amateurs and professionals will have 48 hours to compete in making the best short film within a given framework, which is revealed just before the start.
The chosen participants will create 300 unique perspectives exploring a single given theme. A selection of these will be made available for viewing on the www.videomarathon.com, and the best films will be shown on Danish National TV. The very best video artist will be awarded a production grant to make a film at Nordisk Film Studios.
Those interested must sign up on-line at videomarathon.com from 1st of May, 2006. Our committee will select 300 participants according to principles of diversity, unique vision and individual desire. The final works will be judged by a jury of cutting-edge film directors, producers, critics and TV professionals. The jury will consist of members from Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
